Athlete Ouk Sreymom Arrives in Cambodia

Phnom Penh: Ouk Sreymom, who won the gold medal in world Petanque in Spain, returned to Cambodia at 6 pm on 16 November 2021.

Ouk Sreymom's return today was warmly received from Pochentong Airport in Phnom Penh, accompanied by a convoy of official cars and motorbikes, all the way to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports near the Royal Palace.

This is the second time that Ouk Sreymom has won the World Petanque Gold Medal after winning the World

Petanque Games in Ghent, Belgium in 2017.

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen wrote on his Facebook page on the afternoon of November 14 that the nation is very proud and congratulates Ouk Sreymom for defeating Thailand in the finals The 2021 World Patent Championships in Santa Susanna, Spain.
